Account & subscriptions
From keeping your account details safe to updating your client’s subscription configuration.
What do I need to create an account? What if I forget my password?
No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Save your username and keep your password secure, then sign in through the user panel. Use a unique password for VPNVZ, and don’t store your login details in shared documents or post them in group chats. If you forget your password, first check your password manager and saved browser credentials, then use the recovery option actually available on the login page. Since no email address is required, don’t assume email recovery is available. If you still can’t sign in, follow the guidance in the panel. Never share your full password or subscription link when describing an account issue.
Where can I find my subscription link, and how do I update an existing configuration?
Sign in to the user panel and find your subscription details in the account overview. Then follow the client’s import instructions. To update an existing configuration, locate the relevant subscription in your client and refresh it—switching between saved routes alone won’t update it. If the link in the panel has changed, copy the current link again, verify its source, and replace the old configuration. After updating, check that your route list appears, then connect to a route. Your subscription link is tied to access to your account, so keep it private. If importing fails, note the error message, but don’t post the full link publicly.
Do I need to choose a new plan if I switch devices or use different platforms?
VPNVZ supports Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux, with no device limit. When you switch devices, sign in to the user panel with your existing account, get the client and subscription for the relevant platform, and follow the setup guide to import them. You don’t need to choose a new plan just because you changed devices. System permissions and connection settings can vary by platform, so a working setup on one device doesn’t mean another is configured. Check that the subscription was imported, a route is selected, and the system allows the network connection. There’s no device limit, but that doesn’t mean data is unlimited; data is still subject to the rules for your monthly subscription or data package.
What’s the difference between a monthly subscription and a data package, and when does data reset?
Monthly subscription data resets each month on the date you subscribed, not at the start of a calendar month. Check the user panel for your remaining data and subscription status. Data packages are used until depleted and never expire, making them suitable if your usage varies or you want to use data as needed. The two products have different rules: monthly reset rules don’t apply to data packages, and a data package’s no-expiration policy doesn’t mean unused monthly subscription data carries over indefinitely. If you have more than one product, check your current entitlements in the panel. If you’re unsure which product data is being deducted from, ask through a support ticket before making a decision.
Connections & troubleshooting
Check your local network first, then review your configuration, app, and target service.
The client says I’m connected, but websites won’t load. What should I check?
Disconnect the client first and check whether your regular internet connection can open websites you normally access. If your basic connection isn’t working, troubleshoot your local network first. Next, sign in to the user panel to check your subscription status and remaining data, then update the subscription configuration in your client. After reconnecting, test another regular website rather than judging the route by a single site. If it still won’t load, check that the system proxy or network permissions required by the client are active, and temporarily quit other tools that might control network traffic. Change one setting at a time and note the results. This will help you identify whether the issue is with your basic connection, imported configuration, or the connection after setup when you submit a support ticket.
Why does an app still fail to use the proxy when my browser works?
Your browser and apps don’t necessarily use the same network path. Some apps ignore the system proxy, and client routing rules may send certain requests directly. Check the client logs or connection history to see whether the app’s requests reach the client, then review the current routing mode. If the client has a global mode, you can switch to it temporarily to help identify the issue, then restore your usual settings after testing. To route traffic from more apps, check the relevant network mode and system permissions in the platform guide. Don’t run multiple network-routing tools at the same time. If the request is going through a route but still fails, consider account region and the service’s supported regions as well as connection issues; switching proxy modes alone won’t identify the cause.
What should I do if a subscription update fails or no routes appear after import?
First, make sure you copied the complete subscription link currently shown in the user panel, not the panel page URL. Check that you didn’t include spaces, line breaks, or punctuation added by a chat app. Then confirm that your client supports the import method provided in the panel. If needed, return to the platform-specific instructions in the panel. If your old configuration is still there, keep it until the new one imports successfully. An update can also fail if your current network can’t reach the subscription source, so try again on a different local network. When submitting a support ticket, include your platform, the client’s error message, and the step where it failed. Hide your subscription link, account credentials, and other sensitive information in screenshots.
A website loads, but a streaming service or AI tool reports a region error. What should I check?
Note the exact error and determine whether the page won’t load, you can’t sign in, or the content won’t play. Streaming services and AI tools may check account region, payment details, device environment, or their own supported regions—not just your connection’s exit region. A working connection doesn’t guarantee every feature will be available. Select a route for the target region, close the relevant page or app, and reopen it to test. If you’re using a browser, try a separate session to rule out old session data. Avoid repeatedly changing account region or payment settings. For streaming issues, see the viewing guide; for AI tools, see the relevant guide. Include the error text and selected route name when submitting a support ticket.
Speed & routes
Compare routes for the same use case to separate local network, route, and platform issues.
Streaming stutters during peak hours. What should I check before switching routes?
Pause downloads, cloud sync, and other tasks that use a sustained amount of bandwidth, then check whether playback still stutters. An unstable Wi-Fi signal can also affect playback; try moving closer to your router or comparing with a different local network. Keep the same platform and content while testing other routes in the target region. Don’t change the video quality, device, and route all at once, or it will be harder to identify the cause. If the issue only affects one platform, separate platform-related factors from route-related ones. If everything is slow, check your basic internet connection first. Peak-hour performance depends on the entire network path, not just the route name. Note when and where the issue occurred and what the stuttering looked like to help with troubleshooting.
How should I choose between IEPL, transit, and direct routes?
Choose an exit region based on what you need to do, then compare route types. IEPL, transit, and direct routes describe different ways of arranging network paths; they don’t guarantee that a particular website will always work or that playback will always be smooth. If you’re choosing for the first time, try a route in your target region and compare performance using the same app and content. If playback stutters, try another route type in the same region to avoid confusing changes in a service’s content library with route differences. If you need content from a particular region, don’t choose based only on geographic proximity. Keeping a regular route and an alternative makes it easier to troubleshoot than switching randomly. For more detailed steps, see the global nodes page.
Which regions are available, and why isn’t geographic distance enough to choose a route?
VPNVZ covers 100+ countries / 170+ routes. Check the user panel for the options currently available to you. The nodes page explains regions and route types; before connecting, update your subscription and check the route list in your client. Geographic distance is only one factor. Your local carrier, routing, the target service’s location, and the time of day can all affect performance. For everyday browsing, you can start by trying a nearby region. For region-specific content, choose the target region first, then compare playback. Coverage doesn’t mean every platform is accessible in every region, and a single connection result doesn’t represent every route. If you have an issue with a particular region, include the route name and what you’re using it for.
My connection test looks fine, so why does HD video still buffer?
A connection test usually reflects the result of a particular test request. Video playback also depends on sustained data transfer, the platform’s content delivery, device decoding capability, and player settings. Loading a platform’s home page doesn’t mean playback will remain stable over time. To troubleshoot, play the same video and check whether buffering is continuous or occasional, then compare other routes in the same region. If lowering the video quality helps, check your local network and sustained connection performance. If the video stutters but the audio is fine, check your device load too. High-resolution playback and audio/video formats can also depend on account entitlements, the source content, and device support. See the viewing guide for details, and don’t assume every playback issue is caused by route speed.
Billing & refunds
Check your order and the applicable terms before handling payment, upgrades, or refunds.
How much do monthly subscriptions and data packages cost, and where can I see my current plan?
Monthly subscriptions: ¥9.9/month for 60GB · ¥18/month for 250GB · ¥28/month for 500GB. Data packages: ¥158/300GB · ¥358/1000GB · ¥658/3000GB. Packages are used until depleted and never expire. Compare prices and terms on the plans page; choose a plan and manage orders in the user panel. When comparing options, consider whether your usage is regular and estimate how much data you need rather than looking at price alone. Monthly subscription data resets each month on your subscription date; data packages don’t have the same monthly reset. If you already have an account, check your subscription status and data in the panel before changing plans to avoid making changes without knowing your current entitlements.
What payment methods are supported? What should I do if the page doesn’t update after payment?
Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT are supported. Create an order in the user panel and pay using the method shown on the order page. Don’t use payment details forwarded by someone else. If the page doesn’t update after payment, keep your payment receipt, return to the user panel to check the order status, and confirm that the payment record matches the current order. Don’t pay repeatedly just because the page hasn’t updated yet, and don’t guess how long payment confirmation or a refund will take. If the payment record and panel status don’t match, submit a support ticket with the order details, payment method, and relevant screenshots. Hide sensitive information that isn’t needed to verify the payment. The order record and support ticket response will confirm whether the payment is complete and what happens next.
If I upgrade a monthly subscription partway through, how are the price difference and remaining data calculated?
When you upgrade a monthly subscription partway through, the price difference is converted into remaining days. First check your current plan, its status, and the upgrade page instructions in the user panel, then choose the plan you want. Don’t subtract listed plan prices to estimate what you owe, or use that calculation to guess extra data or a new reset date. Check the panel for the specific result for your account. The general monthly subscription data rule remains the same: data resets monthly on your subscription date. If the adjustment shown on the page is unclear, pause before confirming and ask through a support ticket how it applies to your account. Keep the order and panel records from before and after the upgrade so they can be checked, and avoid switching plans repeatedly until you understand the rules.
How do I request a 7-day no-questions-asked refund, and what information do I need?
VPNVZ offers a 7-day no-questions-asked refund. To request one, first review the refund terms in the Terms of Service, then sign in to the user panel and submit a refund request through the support ticket portal. Specify which order you want refunded and include the order details needed to verify it. If you have a payment receipt, you can attach it after hiding unrelated sensitive information. You don’t need to troubleshoot an issue before requesting a no-questions-asked refund; it’s up to you whether to share feedback about your experience. Keep your ticket and order records, and add any further information to the original ticket so details don’t get split across conversations. Eligibility is subject to the Terms of Service. For refund progress and payment-provider handling, follow the response in your support ticket; no processing time is guaranteed.
